Very nice and clean hotel, good breakfast. But no parking for vehicles. But I would recommend this hotel.

The location, opposite the railway station,scores 4 for its high convenience rather than charm. When booking I had wondered whether the constant stream of buses converging on the Place de la Gare would cause problems,but in practice traffic calmed down from about 10.30 pm; and on the 7th floor I was minimally affected by noise during the night even with the window open. With the high-efficiency double-glazed window closed, there was very little noise at all. The single room was spacious and well equipped, with a very comfortable bed, excellent en-suite facilities and plenty of storage space. The buffet-style breakfast offered an abundant choice catering for most tastes.

Top Tip

Don't bother with taxis. To get around either walk (the City centre is only an few minutes' walk away) or use the municipal bus service, which is comprehensive, comfortable, clean, frequent and cheap (EUR 1.50 per trip within the city). The No 16 bus plies between the Airport and the Station. Enquire at the Station about buying a carnet of bus tickets, which makes bus travel even cheaper.

I have visited Luxembourg 6 times in total, 3 times were just for a few hours in transit to Germany, but this was the 3rd time I had actually stayed there, and it was a case of "3RD TIME LUCKY" as the hotel was one of the best I have ever stayed in!

Dining Room service was pathetic - waited one hour for first course - to find fillet steak badly burnt - 'small pieces of lamb' was served as a large piece on a bone!and bacon rasers served with cheese was not properly cooked with fat still white.
